Site Rebuilt service terms
1. Supplier, business customers and prices
The supplier is Addison Booth trading as Site Rebuilt. Business and contact address: 16 Rosemary Drive, Shavington, Crewe, CW2 5TG, United Kingdom. Email: hello@siterebuilt.co.uk.
These offers are for customers buying wholly or mainly for their business through an authorised representative. Please contact us before ordering for personal use. Nothing in these terms removes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Own It costs £995 GBP once. Managed costs £99 GBP per month, payable in advance and renewing monthly until cancellation takes effect. Site Rebuilt is not VAT registered and does not add VAT. Extra work or third-party costs require your written agreement before they are incurred. A future price or tax change does not rewrite an existing order; any change to an ongoing agreement must first be expressly agreed.
2. The website and order
The concept preview is for evaluation, carries no purchase obligation and is not your official website. Your order identifies the chosen offer, approved website version, price and accepted terms version. Before payment, any remaining changes, delivery or launch arrangements and required access should be agreed in writing. You approve business facts, contact details, claims, service areas and assets before publication. Extra pages, redesigns, integrations or other work outside the agreed website require a separate written scope, price and timing.
3. Own It: package, corrections and assistance
After payment and final version approval, we provide a portable package of HTML pages, styles, approved assets, editable SiteSpec source and hosting instructions. You can host and edit it independently of Site Rebuilt. Static forms use working contact links unless an expressly agreed customer-owned form service is connected; our managed backend is not included.
We will correct a failure of the delivered package to match the approved version. Changes to content or design beyond that version are separately agreed. Initial handoff, hosting setup or DNS assistance can be agreed for your order. Ongoing hosting, maintenance and support are not included in the £995 purchase unless separately agreed. Delivery corrections produce a new version/package so the handoff history remains clear.
4. Managed: service and small changes
While the subscription is in service, we host and operate the agreed website, its SSL and the configured contact form. You remain responsible for supplying accurate content and for checking enquiries delivered to your chosen address.
Reasonable small content changes within existing pages, such as supplied text, image or contact-detail replacements, are included. We agree the scope and timing before starting. New pages, layout redesigns, integrations and substantial content work need a separate quotation and your approval. This is not unlimited editing and includes no fixed response-time, uptime, search-ranking or sales guarantee. We will use reasonable care and skill; maintenance and third-party outages can affect availability.
5. Monthly cancellation, refunds and account management
Managed is month-to-month with no annual or minimum-term commitment beyond the current monthly period. You can request cancellation before renewal through the Stripe Customer Portal made available by Site Rebuilt, or by emailing hello@siterebuilt.co.uk. The time the Portal confirms cancellation or our mailbox receives your email determines whether the request was made before renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of that paid billing period; normal service continues through that period, subject to the suspension conditions below. If our processing delay causes an extra renewal charge after a timely email request, we will correct the cancellation and refund that extra charge. There is no routine prorated refund for an unused part of a month when you choose to cancel. Refunds required by law or arising from our failure to provide the agreed service remain available; any other refund is agreed individually.
The Portal permits payment-method updates, invoice/history access and cancellation at period end. It does not permit changing plans, quantities or prices. A billing-portal session is created on request; no public customer account or permanent portal link is promised.
For Own It, you can cancel before delivery of the final package. We refund the payment less only post-order work or non-recoverable third-party costs that you expressly agreed in writing before they were incurred. We do not charge for an unsolicited concept preview. After delivery, there is no contractual change-of-mind refund; correction and other remedies for a failure to deliver the agreed website are unaffected. This does not override mandatory rights.
6. Payment problems, suspension and recovery
A temporary failed renewal payment does not by itself immediately take down your site. Stripe's retries and the actual billing status determine the next step; no fixed grace period is promised. If service ends at the agreed cancellation date, or billing becomes unpaid, canceled or paused, managed hosting may be suspended. A refund that removes the current service entitlement, a payment dispute, or unlawful use/security risk can also require suspension while the issue is resolved. We will explain the reason and contact you where reasonably practicable.
Suspension does not automatically delete your Site, versions, assets or domain records. An operator can restore service after the issue and payment entitlement are resolved; resuming payment does not itself guarantee immediate automatic restoration. This is not a promise of indefinite storage or permanent backup. Personal enquiry data remains subject to the applicable privacy and retention requirements.
Managed does not include an automatic portable export or transfer of the Site Rebuilt platform when you cancel. Any independent hosting package, purchase or migration assistance must be separately agreed. Your own domain and supplied content remain yours. For Own It, a full refund or payment dispute can stop further package downloads while resolved; it cannot recall a package already downloaded, and any rights adjustment must be agreed or required by law.
7. Domains, content and intellectual property
You retain ownership and control of your domain and responsibility for renewal and registrar access. We request only the DNS/access changes needed for the agreed work and preserve existing email routing. Domain registration, renewal and transfer are not included unless expressly agreed.
Your supplied names, logos, photographs and content remain with their existing owners. You confirm you have permission for materials you supply or authorise. Third-party and open-source assets/components remain subject to their licences.
For an Own It purchase paid in full, we transfer to you the copyright we own in bespoke content created specifically for the delivered website, with a written assignment signed by Site Rebuilt included in the handoff. We grant a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to any reusable Site Rebuilt components included in that package, allowing you and your chosen providers to host, use, copy and modify the purchased website independently. That licence does not include the separate Site Rebuilt platform, operator application, private business data or a right to resell our reusable component library as a standalone product.
Managed provides use of the website through the subscription and does not include that outright ownership transfer. Customer-owned materials remain customer-owned in either offer.
8. Acceptable use, enquiries and privacy
You must not use the service for unlawful or infringing content, malware, fraud or unsolicited bulk messaging. We may act promptly against a serious security or legal risk. Managed forms collect the agreed enquiry fields, store submissions and notify your explicitly configured recipient. You are responsible for your visitor-facing privacy information and appropriate handling of enquiries. Site Rebuilt's own privacy notice describes its handling of business/customer data. Before enabling managed enquiry processing on your behalf, we will agree the applicable written data-processing terms, including processing instructions, security, subprocessors and return or deletion arrangements. These service terms do not by themselves replace that processing agreement.
9. Responsibility and disagreements
We will use reasonable care and skill in providing the agreed service. Please report faults or disagreements promptly so we can investigate and agree correction or another appropriate remedy. These V1 terms impose no additional general monetary liability cap. Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
The agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that require another forum. Contact hello@siterebuilt.co.uk first to try to resolve a dispute; this does not prevent either party seeking an available legal remedy.
10. Changes and records
The accepted order and terms version are retained. A later website edit or new terms version does not silently change your agreement. Any additional work or change to an existing agreement requires express agreement. Keep a copy of your order, accepted terms and delivered package.
